Aboriginal Youth Summer Program in Law - Opportunity for High School Student (Gr. 10 to 12)
The Aboriginal Youth Summer Program (AYSP) is offered by the University
of Toronto Faculty of Law, New College at the University of Toronto, and the
University of Saskatchewan’s Program of Legal Studies for Native People
(PLSNP), and is for Aboriginal high school students who are interested in
the study of law.
Participating students will spend a week living on campus at the University
of Toronto and will explore both traditional and contemporary perspectives
on the law and how the law impacts Aboriginal communities in Canada and
beyond. The AYSP is a fully-subsidized program. There are no program
costs for participants, and travel subsidies are available to students
requiring travel assistance.
AYSP will run from Sunday August 3rd, to Saturday August 9th, 2014.
Applications will be due on Friday May 9th, 2014
