Curve Lake First Nation Phone Service Interruption Notice

As part of the recent upgrades in technologies within Curve Lake First Nation, a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) is scheduled to be installed at three of the Curve Lake First Nation owned buildings over three dates.

Friday February 6th, 2015 - Government Services Building
Friday February 20th, 2015 - Health Centre
March Break 2015 - Curve Lake School

The installation of the VOIP will require the phone system to be shut down at 3:00 pm on Friday February 6th and 20th, 2015. The Government Service Building and Health Centre will remain open to provide services to the community until closing at 4:00 pm.

The VOIP will allow us to eliminate the costly Bell telephone lines and services we currently use for voice communication. This will result in savings of thousands of dollars per year and make possible one integrated phone system for all of the First Nation operations.

If you have any questions, please contact the Government Services Building at 705-657-8045.

Sorry for any inconveniences this may cause.
