Evening with Our Ancestors a Big Hit

Evening with Our Ancestors was a huge hit on the night of March 19th, 2012. The event was to share information about archaeology and how it has involved Curve Lake First Nation as well as promote the First Nation Archaeological Liaison Training program that is going to take place during spring 2012. There were 60+ people who attended and enjoyed the Indian tacos that were catered by Osh Ga Moog. The evening ended with Mindy Knott taking home a Sharp AQUOS 32” LCD HDTV along with Edith Knott and Emma Taylor taking home $50 gift cards from Futureshop.

If you are interested in seeing artifacts from some of the archaeological sites Curve Lake First Nation has been involved in please visit Anne Taylor, Cultural Archivist at the Curve Lake Cultural Centre located at 1024 Mississauga Street, Curve Lake First Nation.

G’chi  Miigwetch to everyone who was able to come out, we appreciate your interest and hope to see you at future events!

A special miigwetch to Anne Taylor, Caleb Musgrave and Dr. Lawrence Jackson for all you help!
