Join the Curve Lake First Nation text messaging services for important community updates and information!
This is an exciting and interesting time for our community; we are always striving to find innovative and effective ways to communicate with you about various topics that involve Curve Lake First Nation as an organization and as a community. We recognize that communication is a key part to good governance and leadership; Council want to ensure all members connected and receiving information that is important to them.
We are pleased to announce the start up of a new short messaging service (SMS) aka text messaging notification service for Curve Lake First Nation. This type of technology will allow the First Nation to communicate short messages to the members who subscribe to the service via their cell phone. The messages can include important dates of events (Election Day, Celebration of Sharing, etc.), emergency situations (such as road closures or in event of a natural disaster) as well as uses by the Curve Lake School and other departments of Curve Lake First Nation.
To subscribe to the service, please text “Join” to 705-304-2587.
Our goal is to continue to keep our members informed by utilizing various communication tools including this SMS technology will allow members to receive important messages directly to their cell phones.
