Used Anishinabek Police Vehicles for Sale - Open to all members of the public
The Anishinabek Police Service is now accepting sealed bids for several vehicles listed in the table below
Special Notice: All vehicles will be sold as is. Police Vehicles are subject to harsh operating conditions and have the interiors altered to fit cages and equipment. All decals and emergency equipment will be removed before sale. It is the responsibility of the bidder to view and assess the potential purchase. Some of the vehicles have been out of service for months and range from poor to good condition. APS employees are not allowed to comment on the status of the vehicles if people request.
How to bid?
The sale of the vehicles will be handled by a bidding process.
To submit a bid:
Place your bid in a sealed envelope marked:
- Confidential, Used vehicle bid, attention: Doug Chevrier, Chair of APS finance committee:
- on the outside of the envelope indicate the vehicle unit number you wish to bid on
- Inside the envelope include: your bid, your daytime contact information, name, address, phone number (daytime), and email address. If you don’t return our notice of your successful bid within seven days we will go to the next lower bid
- Take the bid to your local APS detachment or mail to: Anishinabek Police Service, Attn: Doug Chevrier c/o Janine Zack, 1436 Hwy 17B, Garden River, ON, P6A 6Z1
DEADLINE: November 21, 2013 at 4 p.m. EST
Tenders will opened the week of December 2nd to allow time for the mail. Only the winning bidders will be contacted. Successful bidders must remove the vehicles by 7 days of notification.
