Election Day 2019 – Polling Station

Notice is hereby given to the voters of Curve Lake First Nation that a poll will be held to elect one (1) chief and eight (8) councillors on Monday, June 17th, 2019 from nine o’clock (9:00) a.m. until eight o;clock (8:00) p.m. at the Curve Lake Community Centre.
All members of Curve Lake First Nation who have reached the age4 of 18 on or before the poll date are eligible voters. Non-resident voters having an update mailing address with Curve Lake First Nation Administration Reception will receive a voting package that includes options for mail-in voting or online voting via https://onefeather.ca/nations/curvelake. It is a voter’s responsibility to provide a current mailing address in order to receive a voting package. Resident voters may request a voting package from the Electoral Officer. All voters may vote in person if choosing not to use a mail-in ballot or online voting via https://onefeather.ca/nations/curvelake.
The votes will be counted at the Curve Lake Community Centre on Tuesday, June 18th, 2019, the day after the closing of the poll and I will declare the results immediately following the count. The ballot boxes will be held at APS station overnight.
